FAQ
Can you use Philips Hue without a bridge?
Yes for simple control: the bulb pairs over Bluetooth with the Hue app. A Hue Bridge, sold separately, adds more features.
What is the difference between Hue White and Hue White Ambiance?
Hue White dims at a fixed warm white, and Zigbee2MQTT exposes brightness only for this bulb. White Ambiance bulbs also change colour temperature.
How bright is the Hue White A67 E27 bulb?
1600 lm, the 100 W equivalent, in the larger A67 shape. It is warm white at about 3000 K.
Does the Hue White A67 E27 bulb work with Zigbee2MQTT?
Yes. Zigbee2MQTT lists it as model 9290023349 and exposes state, brightness, power-on behaviour and effects.
