Which features work depends on your hub. Apple Home, Home Assistant and others each expose different ones.

About

A 470 lm RGB and tunable white bulb on an E14 cap, 4.9 W and dimmable. It pairs over Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi to the Lepro app, where the LightGPM 4 AI Lighting Design Assistant turns a prompt or a photo into a scene. The Amazon UK listing sells two bulbs.

Before you buy

One owner says the BP1 works fine in the Lepro app and Alexa. Home Assistant owners use a community integration that polls Lepro's cloud. Reports include bulbs flashing through colours after a change from Home Assistant, fixed in a later release, and white-mode brightness stopping after the first adjustment on firmware 2.3.18.

Pairing

  • Power the bulb on; if it does not blink within 10 seconds, switch it off and on three times (off, on, off, on, off, on) with 1 to 2 seconds between each, until it blinks rapidly and can be added in the Lepro app.
  • Then in Google Home
  • Open the Google Home app, tap +, then Set up device.
  • Choose Works with Google Home and find the brand.
  • Sign in, pick the device, then choose its room.

About 2 minutes. Put the device into pairing mode first, then add it to your hub.

FAQ

Does the Lepro BP1 work with Alexa and Google Assistant?

Yes. The listing says it works with both with no hub. Connect the bulb to Wi-Fi in the Lepro app first, then link Alexa from the Me page in the app.

Does it work with Home Assistant or Apple Home?

The listing mentions neither Matter nor Home Assistant. Home Assistant owners use a community Lepro integration that polls Lepro's cloud, while Alexa works through the Lepro app.

Why will it not connect?

Lepro's guide says to use 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi with Bluetooth on. If the bulb does not blink within 10 seconds of power-on, switch it off and on three times to reset it.

What is LightGPM?

It is the AI lighting designer in the Lepro app. The listing says you can describe a mood or upload a photo and the app returns a lighting design for the bulb.
