About
A compact 13 A UK plug that measures the power drawn by whatever is plugged into it, shows the readings in the Calex Smart app and switches appliances on and off remotely. It connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, needs no hub, and takes voice commands through Alexa and Google Home.
Pairing
- Press the on/off button until the indicator light starts blinking, then add the plug in the Calex Smart app on a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Then in Google Home
- Open the Google Home app, tap +, then Set up device.
- Choose Works with Google Home and find the brand.
- Sign in, pick the device, then choose its room.
- Press the on/off button until the indicator light starts blinking, then add the plug in the Calex Smart app on a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Then in Amazon Alexa
- Open the Alexa app, go to Devices, then tap +.
- Choose Add device and pick the brand, or enable its skill.
- Let discovery run, then add the device to a group.
About 2 minutes. Put the device into pairing mode first, then add it to your hub.
