About
A UK Type G mini plug rated 13 A and 3120 W, with energy monitoring, schedules and timers in the Meross app. It joins a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, needs no hub, and can still be controlled on the local network through the app when the internet is down. The Amazon UK listing sells two plugs.
Before you buy
Setup starts in the Meross app over Bluetooth, and local control is less settled. A Home Assistant owner found two MSS305 plugs reverted to pairing mode after about 45 seconds on a local MQTT broker until they were configured with a Bluetooth tool that also sets the time. An MSS315 owner said energy readings stopped reaching Home Assistant once the internet was cut.

FAQ
Does the Meross MSS305 work with Apple HomeKit?
No. Retailers list the MSS305 as the non-HomeKit model, and the Amazon listing names only Alexa, Google Home and SmartThings. The MSS315 is Meross's separate Matter plug.
Does it work with Home Assistant?
Yes, through the community Meross LAN integration rather than a built-in one. One owner added two MSS305 plugs after setting them up in the Meross app first.
Does it work without internet?
Meross says devices on the same network can still be controlled through the app if the router loses internet. Energy readings are less certain: an owner of the sibling MSS315 reported they stopped reaching Home Assistant when the internet was cut.
Does it need a hub?
No. It joins a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network directly, and the listing says no hub is required. It works on 2.4 GHz only.
How much power can it switch?
The Amazon UK listing gives a load of up to 13 A, 3120 W, which suits most household appliances.
