Features

Which features work depends on your hub. Apple Home, Home Assistant and others each expose different ones.

About

An IR and RF blaster that turns TVs, air conditioners, set-top boxes, fans and 433 MHz curtain motors into app-controlled devices. It learns codes from an existing remote, stores them in the BroadLink app, and exposes them to Alexa, Google Home and Home Assistant over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. RF rolling-code remotes are not supported.

Pairing

  • Hold the reset button with a pin until the Wi-Fi indicator blinks quickly, then add the device in the BroadLink app on a 2.4 GHz network.
  • Then in Home Assistant
  • Go to Settings → Devices & services and choose Add integration.
  • Search for HomeKit Controller and enter the code from the device or its app.
  • Assign the device to an area.

About 2 minutes. Put the device into pairing mode first, then add it to your hub.
